NLM citation style

April 21st, 2008

If you have a task to write a work in NLM citation style, you should follow some tips to avoid mistakes. The National Library of Medicine has established some rules for writing works. You should use square brackets after the title. The references have to contain: the author’s name, title of the document, place and date of publication, publisher and length. You should not forget about dates. You need to include the dates of publication and citation. You should also point out place of publication in square brackets. If the document has no author, you need to write it alphabetically, taking into account the title. All these tips will help you write a good work in NLM citation style.
